The Assembly Place - Balloting Results

This is probably one of the most usual press releases that went alongside the SGX announcement of the balloting results. The Company released a full presentation deck , which is actually quite informative, with information of upcoming pipeline etc (probably the Company felt that it is safer to release this after the IPO closes and not before). The balloting table is as follows: The IPO has drawn strong interest from prominent institutional funds such as Avanda Investment Management (as investment manager for and on behalf of its fund(s)) and Lion Global Investors Limited (as investment manager for and on behalf of its clients), along with prominent investors, including Mr Han Seng Juan, Mr Rudolf Jurgen August Rolles and Mr Chong Soon Kong @ Chi Suim2 , underscoring strong confidence in TAP's investment proposition. Separate from the Invitation, cornerstone investors, namely Apricot Capital Pte. Ltd., Asdew Acquisitions Pte. Ltd., Cache Capital Pte. Ltd., ICH Synergrowth Fun...

Advancer Global Limited - Balloting Results

Advancer Global announced that its shares have been 5.5x over-subscribed. The public tranche of 2m shares were about 98x subscribed!

It is interesting to note the intent of the management in the press release which is reflected in the balloting ratio.

"We are heartened by the strong vote of confidence from both the retail and institutional investors. The balloting ratio reflects the management's intent to distribute to a wider and diversified group of investors to participate in the future growth of the company."

You can see that management has "favored" the smaller retail investors this time round and if you apply for less shares, the probability of getting the shares is actually higher! This is probably the first time i see such balloting table favoring smaller retail investors!

Havenport Asset Management subscribed for 8.2m placement shares (consisting 19% of the IPO tranche). It's good to see some "real money" in the IPO.

My view is that the IPO was very well received by different investors group and it is definitely good to see a "real money"  institutional investor. Investors who are lucky enough to get some shares should see a chilli hot debut on Monday.

Happy IPOing

Do you think it's better to take profit if gap up on monday? Or have chance to steadily rise up like acromec?
Mr. IPO said…
I wish I know. Lol. ^_^

Acromec's business is mainly based on labs, factories and institutes start-ups/expansions while Advancer's based on maid and cleaning services which I feel has higher resilience against the market. That said, it still depends strongly on the growth strategies of these companies. Just sharing my two cents...

I didnt rush him or anything. He is doing this voluntarily out of his own free will. You are the one who is very rude to rush him as if he is at your beck and call. Learn some manners first will you? :)
Mr. IPO said…
Haha it's ok la. Don't quarrel. I do this at my own free will and time so I am not affected. :) appreciate you speaking up.

Hi Mr IPO. Appreciate if u can share yr opinion as to why the share price of Advancer keep dropping recently? And if the shares are worth to keep for longer term? Thanks
Mr. IPO said…
I have provided my views on whether to buy and what I think the "fair value" should be. Unfortunately I won't be able to tell you why prices move up or down...

Hi Unknown, because mr IPO was vested in the IPO and subscribed a lot. he wrote a positive review, and then he sold it on day 1, leaving investors like you who truly believe in the stock fundamentals with a big loss. And he has no guts to publish my post.
Mr. IPO said…
As long as you are not rude, i will always publish your posts.

(1) my ratings is for readers to decide whether they want to subscribe or not. Not for readers to chase the stocks after it has listed
(2) I tell you whether i am vested or not so that you can decide for yourself whether my views are biased and most of the time, they are.
(3)Readers who have been following me for a long time knows that being vested doesn't affect my chilli ratings. I have given zero ratings to IPOs which i am vested so are you new to my blog?
(4) I have shared what i think the fair value range is in my blog. If the price moved beyond my fair value range because investors chase them, am i not allowed to sell?
(5) If you think i can control the market, you have to think again...
